[The Stranger Forest]

Well done

Very unique. I liked it best when the forest became all psychedelic when that dragon came around. That definately looks like a forest I'd like to explore... I bet you could find some insane mushrooms out there too ;). My final thought on the movie was kind of depressing. I don't like the fact that the kid had to go back to the robot city. Those natives should have taken him under their wing. But I guess he just didn't belong. Maybe he himself was a robot? Everything else that wasn't in the forest seemed to be. Anyway I think the most important thing you did here was captivate me. You kept me interested and wanting to see what happens next. That's a sure sign that the flash is well done. Not just artistic, but well written. Bravo. You get an A from me :)

Now THIS is what flash movies are meant to be. The idea is brilliant, I love it! And holy shit man, the random acts of violence, the corny little jokes... I was laughing my ass off! I can say some of the graphics and animation could have been slightly better at points, but.. who cares, because the overall kick-assity (yeah I made that word up) of the flash by far makes up for that. Anyway, after watching this flash, I realized that the possibilities for a sequel to this would be endless. You could go real far with this idea. Which is why I would like to offer my services to you. I know this may sound cheesy, but man, I would love to work with you on this project. You combined two of my favorite shows into something so funny... I just love the idea. I've been working with flash for over 3 years and I must say, I'm very good at it.. if you're at all interested in allowing me to collaborate with you (or just help out a little) shoot me a PM, or email me, or something. I liked it

Although it wasn't perfect as far as flash animation standards go, I enjoyed it enough to see past that. The graphics are decent, but lazy. And the animation was even lazier. But that's okay. I loved the voices, they fit very well, sometimes in a very comical way. The "eyrrrr"'s were my favorite, of course. And the queer little song clip you used for when Rapunzel "sang"... very funny. I'd like to find out what the song was, actually. As far as humor goes, the way that you can tell it was a project that wasn't taken seriously at all makes it funny in the first place. Then all the gay little additions and stuff... it's lame and I love it.

I'll agree with Hoogiman. The flash of this type that you create are works of greatness and brilliance, to say the least. You know what I'd like to see? I full length movie of this shit. Like, take a serious storyline and then animate it in this kind of style.

Well.
I have been working on something.
Sort of like a rock-musical thing aboud a city that eats itself as the whole town is impacted in the center and crushed.
Its not as fast and disorientating as this cartoon, but its alot more.....eh. I dunno. No real word to describe it.
But I can say with confidence, it is probably the best thing I will have ever made.

That was pretty damn funny. What's even funnier is the noob a few reviews before me who said "stop trying to rip off sickanimation", when in fact this submission was made LONG before sickanimation ever came about. Shame on all the other NGers for bitching about this being on the front page. It's on the front page because whoever put it there found this to be funny (I know I did), and they have every right to put whatever the hell they want on their front page. Get a sense of humor. Aside from all of that noob bashing, I just want to say props to whoever dug this up.

Have you ever done LSD?

Because that isn't what happens at all when you are on LSD. Sure, you may feel weird and happy (as that did happen in a few scenes), and there are sometimes outer-body experiences (seeing yourself from above), and I know all of the gore you included was for the freaky halloween experience, but I think it gives viewers a bad impression on what LSD really is. The trip seemed alot more similar to the effects of heroin. Acid is a happy drug, which causes no bleeding or self-inflicted violence, unless, as you stated, you are a really fucked up person in the first place, or you are combining LSD with other drugs. Pros were the graphics and animation; I love your style, and I have loved it ever since you released "The Way We Get By" collab way back in the day. I also liked the creepy voice acting. Anyway when I first watched it on the front page I really liked it and favorited it, so when monthly voting came around I gave it first place. Then I went back and watched it and sort of changed my outlook on the flash. Too late to change the vote though. You still did a great job - I just didn't like your representation of an LSD trip.

I agree I shouldn't have called it LSD, because I agree that it is infact a mixture of several drugs.

I know LSD alone won't make a trip like this, but then again nothing will.. because it's a cartoon.
